WWB, CSA sign CSS preparation training agreement

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) Workers’ Welfare Board (WWB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Civil Service Academy (CSA) Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for provision of four months fully funded CSS preparation training at the academy each year.

The ceremony was attended by Director General Civil Service Academy Farhan Aziz Khawaja and Director Civil Service Academy Shabbir Zaidi, along with Chairman/Secretary Labour Capt (R) Mian Adil Iqbal, Secretary Workers Welfare Board Sher Alam Khan, Director Education Arif Ali and Director Administration Saifullah Zafar.

Addressing the ceremony, KP Minister for Labour Faisal Khan Tarakai described the initiative as a revolutionary step and added that it will provide opportunities to talented children of the working class to access higher government services, which will play a key role in social development and provision of equal opportunities.

He appreciated the cooperation of the Civil Service Academy and expressed the hope that this partnership will expand further in the future and benefit more and more youth.

He said that the KP government believes in practical steps for the welfare of workers and their families, and this initiative is a continuation of this vision.
