HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Research and Development Foundation (RDF), in collaboration with Germany's Welthungerhilfe (WHH) convened a workshop under the Green Skills Project at Dr Nabi Bux Baloch Hall in Sindh Language Authority here on Saturday.
The workshop introduced project objectives, scope, and activities to a diverse audience of stakeholders, civil society organizations, and technical and vocational education and training (TVET) representatives.
Masood Mahesar, Executive Director RDF, outlined the foundation's vision for youth empowerment.
Sarwan Baloch, an expert in economic development and value chain at WHH, provided an overview of WHH’s role in advancing sustainable livelihoods.

Manzoor Chandio, Regional Director STEVTA, commended RDF and WHH for their pioneering efforts in promoting the green skills and strengthening TVET sector development in Pakistan.
His closing remarks underscored the importance of aligning vocational training with sustainability and labor market needs.
