Woman kills while two injured in lightning strike in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) A woman was killed and two others were injured after a lightning strike in Ranotra Village on Chak Beli Road, Rawalpindi, on Friday.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, three victims including two women and a man were affected by the lightning strike.

As a result, a woman was died on the spot while the other woman and the male victim sustained injuries.

Upon receiving information about the incident, rescue services dispatched two ambulances to the location and provided emergency assistance to the victims.

The injured were shifted for medical treatment, while the deceased woman’s body was handed over to the relevant.

The condition of the injured victims was reported to be stable.
