Woman killed,son injured in a road mishap

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) A woman was killed while her son sustained injuries after a speeding car hit their motorcycle near Adda Baseera on Bahawalpur Road in Basti Malook on Saturday,Rescue 1122 officials said.

According to Rescue 1122, the victims were crossing the road on a motorcycle when a speeding vehicle struck them.

As a result,Kulsoom Akhtar(45) died on the spot while her son Muhammad Aman(19) sustained injuries.

Rescue officials said an ambulance was immediately dispatched after receiving the emergency call.

The rescue team provided first aid to the injured and shifted him to Laeeque Rafique Hospital for further treatment.

Police reached the scene,completed legal formalities and handed over the body to the family.
