Woman killed, motorcyclist injured in road accident

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) A woman was killed while a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a road traffic accident in the area of Thikriwala police station.

Rescue 1122 spokesman said here on Saturday that a speedy truck hit a motorcyclist near Chak No.73-JB Jhapal on Jhang Road.

As a result, 45-year-old Bushra Bibi received serious injuries and died on the spot while Rescue 1122 shifted the motorcyclist Mazhar Ali (50) to hospital in critical condition after providing first aid.

The police took the body into custody which was later on handed over to her relatives for burial after completing necessary formalities, spokesman added.
