Woman killed for honour

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jun, 2026) A woman was killed for honour, in the jurisdiction of CCD Police Station,

Police said that Nazar Muhammad saw his daughter-in-law in objectionable

condition with his grandson, Jahangir, at around 4:30 a.m.

and attacked the

woman with a blow of axe, killing her on the spot. Jahangir, managed to escape

from the scene under the cover of darkness.

Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the body to a nearby hospital.

Police have arrested the alleged killer, and launched a search for the absconding

suspect.

Further investigation was underway.
