Woman drug peddler among three arrested with narcotics

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) City Police arrested a woman drug peddler along with her two accomplices allegedly involved in drug trafficking.

Police claimed to have recovered eight kilograms and 720 grams of hashish from the possession of the three suspects, who were caught red-handed during a raid conducted in the inner area of the city.

The operation was carried out on the directions of District Police Officer Muhammad Abid.

According to a police statement issued on Tuesday, the identities of the accused could not be ascertained immediately.

The DPO stated that the circle of investigation has been widened to arrest all those linked to the drug network.

He added that no one involved in the crime would be spared.
