Woman arrested for allegedly throwing acid on husband in Gujar Khan

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Jun, 2026) Police have arrested a woman accused of throwing acid on her husband in Gujar Khan over domestic dispute on Tuesday.

According to police spokesperson, the incident occurred when the victim exited a Union Council office, where his wife allegedly threw acid at him.

Police responded promptly and arrested the suspect shortly after the incident.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack stemmed from ongoing domestic disagreements between the couple.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. According to Police the victim is out of danger and his condition is stable.

A case has been registered on the complaint of the injured man, and further investigations are underway.
