Wing Commander, DC review security, progress at Kandhkot-Ghotki Bridge

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Kashmor at Kandhkot, Agha Sher Zaman, and Wing Commander Colonel Talal Ahmed visited the Kandhkot-Ghotki Bridge to review ongoing work and security arrangements on Friday.

The DC along with Wing Commander, conducted a detailed visit to the under-construction Kandhkot-Ghotki Bridge. During the visit, they reviewed the ongoing construction work as well as the security arrangements.

Officers from relevant departments, engineers, and security personnel were also present during the visit. The DC inspected the quality, pace, and safety measures of the work and issued directives to ensure the construction is completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He expressed satisfaction over the security situation and instructed the relevant institutions to further enhance security around the bridge and its surroundings to ensure the protection of life and property of the personnel working on the project.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that this mega-project is among the top priorities of the Sindh government. Regular monitoring of the work is being carried out by the Sindh government, and they are being continuously informed about the progress to ensure this important public project is completed on time and with high quality.
