Wheelchairs distributed among special persons in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) The district administration distributed wheelchairs among deserving and special persons to facilitate their mobility and support their independence in daily life.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning) Azki Fatima handed over a total of 12 wheelchairs to deserving individuals during a ceremony held on Thursday.

The initiative aimed to help special persons move more easily and live dignified and self-reliant lives within society.

Speaking on the occasion, Azki Fatima said the district administration was taking practical steps to ensure the welfare and well-being of special persons.

She also urged philanthropists and welfare organizations to come forward and support the administration in assisting people in need.

Officials said the district administration, under the framework of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, remained committed to public service and social welfare and would continue efforts to support deserving segments of society.
