WASA Rawalpindi achieves record Rs250 million revenue recovery target

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jul, 2026) The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Rawalpindi has successfully achieved a revenue recovery target of Rs250 million for the first time in its history.

According to a WASA spokesperson, the target was accomplished through the dedicated efforts, effective strategy and strong teamwork of the WASA Revenue Directorate under the leadership of Managing Director WASA Rawalpindi Azizullah Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, Azizullah Khan said the achievement was made possible through the grace of Almighty Allah and the tireless efforts of Director Revenue Tahir Bashir, Deputy Directors Rana Shams-ur-Rehman and Akmal Yasin, along with other officers.

He said the revenue recovery campaign was closely monitored, while timely instructions were issued to the concerned officers to ensure the target was achieved within the stipulated period.

The Revenue Directorate continued its recovery drive by keeping offices open on Sundays, particularly during the month of June, to complete the target on time.

The MD reaffirmed WASA Rawalpindi's commitment to taking proactive measures for the financial stability of the institution while ensuring the provision of quality services to citizens.
