WASA officials directed to complete desilting of all disposal stations before Eid-ul-Fitr

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Managing Director Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Saqib Raza has ordered for complete desilting of wet wells at all disposal stations before Eid-ul-Fitr.

He further directed that geo-tagging of all manholes should be completed by February 28, after which they would be monitored through google maps.

Chairing a meeting here on Wednesday, he said that provision of quality sewage facilities to consumers during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays is the priority, for which all measures will be completed timely.

He directed to present desilting reports of sewerage lines on a daily basis, adding that he would personally monitor the de-silting process.

He further directed to clear sewerage water of parks through D-watering sets.
