Wanted criminals involved in in murder case held

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) Police have arrested three suspects wanted in a murder and attempted murder case during an operation carried out by Rawat Police.

According to police spokesperson, the suspects had allegedly stormed into a house two months ago over a dispute related to a pathway and attacked the residents with gunfire, axes and sticks.

A citizen was killed in the incident while eight people, including three women, were injured.

The suspects had gone into hiding after the attack but were later arrested through technical and human intelligence. Four of their accomplices had already been arrested earlier. SP Saddar Anum Sher said the suspects would be challaned in court with solid evidence to ensure strict punishment.
