Wafaqi Mohtasib meets CJP

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Wafaqi Mohtasib Naveed Kamran Baloch has called on the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, at the Supreme Court.

During the meeting, matters relating to the provision of justice to the public and the resolution of citizens’ grievances were discussed, said a news release issued here on Wednesday.

Both sides exchanged views on strengthening institutional cooperation and enhancing transparency and accountability mechanisms to ensure more effective public service delivery.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan observed that the Wafaqi Mohtasib played a significant role in providing free and prompt relief to citizens against maladministration.

He appreciated the importance of the Ombudsman’s office in addressing public complaints and ensuring administrative justice.

The meeting also emphasized improving access to justice and strengthening coordination among institutions. Both sides agreed on the need to further activate and streamline the system for the effective redressal of public grievances in order to provide timely relief to citizens.
