Veteran ANP Kohat leader Muhammad Ramzan passes away

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) Senior Awami National Party (ANP) Kohat leader and veteran Khudai Khidmatgar, Muhammad Ramzan, passed away on Saturday, the party confirmed. He was regarded as one of the district’s longstanding ideological workers who dedicated his life to public service and the non-violent philosophy of Bacha Khan.

According to party officials, the funeral prayer of the late leader offered today (Saturday) at 2:00 pm. A large number of political workers, social activists, and community members are expected to attend.

In a statement, ANP Kohat expressed deep sorrow over his demise, noting that Muhammad Ramzan’s political and social contributions would always be remembered with respect.

The party said he remained committed throughout his life to promoting peace, unity, and the message of non-violence.

The statement added that his services for the community and his unwavering loyalty to the party’s principles had left a lasting legacy.

The party prayed for the departed soul, asking Allah Almighty to grant him a high place in His mercy and to give patience to the bereaved family.
