Venezuela earthquake death toll rises to 2,595

CARACAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 03rd Jul, 2026) The death toll from the powerful earthquakes that struck northern Venezuela a week ago has risen to 2,595, while 12,400 people have been injured, Interim President Delcy Rodriguez said Thursday.

Authorities say nearly 800 buildings collapsed, including 189 that were completely destroyed, and that response operations and damage assessments are ongoing.
