VC IUB meets HEC official to discuss solarization, funding and development projects

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, met HEC Director General Finance Ghulam Nabi in Islamabad to discuss financial, administrative and development matters related to the university.

The meeting focused on seed funding for the solarization of IUB campuses, increasing the university’s recurring grant and reviewing ongoing development projects. The Vice Chancellor said the solarization initiative would reduce electricity costs and support environmentally friendly campuses.

Ghulam Nabi appreciated IUB’s academic progress and assured HEC’s cooperation in addressing the university’s financial and development needs.
