Ultra human system allows users to connect data from smart rings and other wearable devices

Ultra human has introduced a new health platform called M2 live that helps people monitor their blood sugar more regularly.

The system is designed to work with Abbott Liber 3+ sensor, which is already available without a prescription and can be bought over the counter.

The sensor is placed on the body and sends glucose readings to a phone through blue-tooth. Each sensor works for up to 14 days and cannot be reused after that.

While Abbott also provides its own app for the sensor, Ultra human offers a separate M2 live app. This app tracks glucose levels and creates a metabolic score that shows how the body is processing sugar and insulin.

According to a scientific report on nature, it is a clinically validated marker of insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism.

The system also allows users to connect data from smart rings and other wearable devices. It combines glucose readings with sleep patterns, heart rate changes, activity levels, recovery, and skin temperature.

This helps give a more complete picture of overall health, it can also be used to lose weight by suggesting a more effective portion control.

Ultra human says the platform may be useful for people with conditions like Type 2 diabetes, obesity, PCOS & PMOS, and high blood pressure. It can also support weight management by guiding better eating habits and portion control based on personal data.
