The Department of History, Arts and Cultural Heritage at the Bank Road Campus of the University of Education, Lahore organized a unique BFA Thesis Display and art exhibition, where students of Fine Arts presented their creative and research-based projects

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) The Department of History, Arts and Cultural Heritage at the Bank Road Campus of the University of Education, Lahore organized a unique BFA Thesis Display and art exhibition, where students of Fine Arts presented their creative and research-based projects.

The exhibition highlighted themes such as artificial intelligence, health, environment, modern technology, and social issues through various forms of artistic expression.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar Chaudhry inaugurated the exhibition, which was attended by Principal Bank Road Campus Prof. Dr. Samina Mazhar, faculty members, students, art enthusiasts and a large number of visitors.

Graduating students from the departments of Graphic Design and Painting displayed more than 100 artworks, including digital art, canvas paintings, visual illustrations and innovative designs portraying contemporary challenges, human emotions, scientific advancement and the growing impact of artificial intelligence.

Speaking on the occasion, the vice chancellor appreciated the students’ creative work and said the university was committed to promoting artistic and creative abilities alongside quality education. He said art and creative expression were essential for the intellectual growth of society, adding that presenting themes such as modern technology and artificial intelligence through art reflected the students’ awareness and understanding of the contemporary world.

He said such academic and creative platforms played an important role in building students’ confidence, encouraging self-expression and preparing them for professional life. He also appreciated the efforts of students and faculty members for organizing the exhibition.

During the event, students briefed visitors about the ideas and inspirations behind their artworks, while guests admired the creativity and artistic skills displayed in the exhibition.
