KOHISTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Lower Kohistan, Tariq Mehmood on Wednesday chaired a meeting, to discuss issues faced by the local population.

The meeting was focused particularly on problems related to WAPDA services and prolonged electricity load shedding. Participants highlighted the difficulties being faced by residents due to power outages and other related concerns.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Tariq Mehmood assured that all genuine issues would be resolved on a priority basis.

He stated that providing relief to the public remains the foremost priority of the district administration.

He further directed the concerned authorities to adopt coordinated and effective measures to improve electricity supply and minimize public inconvenience.

The district administration Lower Kohistan reiterated its commitment to resolving public grievances and ensuring the provision of basic facilities to the people of the region.
