UAF initiates Mentoring Program for Universities

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has initiated the Mentoring Program for Universities in partnership with the National academy for Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

The UAF spokesman said on Monday that following a careful selection process, mentor-mentee pairs have been finalized across departments and participants have been invited to commence this important initiative.

The program aims to strengthen faculty development, foster professional excellence, and build a supportive academic community through structured guidance and collaborative learning, he added.

He said that this mentorship initiative represents UAF's commitment to cultivating academic leadership and creating meaningful opportunities for knowledge sharing among educators.

Through one-on-one mentoring relationships, the program will empower both early-career and experienced faculty members to enhance their teaching, research, and professional growth, he added.

Meanwhile, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali lauded the program and said that it would help the academic community to excel and in the development of future leaders in higher education.
