FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Pakistan's premier agricultural institution, has achieved another significant milestone in international higher education rankings by improving its position in the prestigious QS World University Rankings.
University spokesman said here on Friday that UAF has advanced from 654th position to 629th position in recent released said ranking, reflecting its growing global recognition for academic excellence, impactful research, innovation, and international engagement.
The latest ranking achievement highlights UAF's consistent progress in strengthening teaching quality, research productivity, industry collaboration, graduate employability, and international outlook.
The university has continued to enhance its standing among the world's leading institutions through strategic initiatives aimed at promoting knowledge creation, technological advancement, and sustainable development. It is pertaining to mention here that it is 33rd best university in QS subject ranking in agriculture and forestry.
Meanwhile, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali congratulated the entire UAF family, including faculty members, researchers, students, alumni, administrative staff, and stakeholders whose collective efforts have contributed to the university's continuous success.

He emphasized that the university's research outputs, international collaborations, patents, technology transfer initiatives, and academic partnerships have significantly enhanced its global visibility. "Together, we will continue marching towards excellence and strengthening UAF's position as a globally recognized institution of higher learning and research", he added.
