Two women shot dead in Malakand over domestic dispute

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Two women were shot dead inside their home in Sakhakot area of Malakand on Sunday.

According to local Levies officials, the suspect, reported to be the younger brother of a woman’s husbands, allegedly opened fire following a domestic dispute.

Both victims died on the spot due to critical injuries.

Police further said that the deceased women were real sisters, which has added to the shock and grief in the local community.

The accused managed to flee the scene after the incident. Authorities have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the suspect and launched an investigation.

Efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
