Two suspects of child abuse case arrested in Kurram

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Police in district Kurram have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in molesting of a minor child, officials confirmed on Sunday. A case has been registered and further investigation is currently underway.

Police said on Sunday that the incident was reported at Parachinar Police Station by Ali Akbar, son of Noor Hussain, a resident of Parachinar. He filed a complaint regarding the alleged abuse of his young child.

Taking immediate notice of the case, District Police Officer (DPO) Kurram, Malik Habib Khan issued directives for swift action against the accused.

Following these instructions, Station House Officer (SHO) City Police Station, Ishtiaq Hussain, along with Incharge City Syed Qaiser Hussain and their police team, conducted two separate operations. During these operations, the police arrested the suspects identified as Nusrat Hussain, son of Abbas Ghulam, a resident of Nasti Kot and Syed Hassani, son of Syed Jawad, a resident of Zeran.

Police have registered a formal case against the arrested individuals and have launched a detailed investigation to ensure justice is served.
