Two robbers arrested in injured condition

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) Two robbers were arrested in injured condition during alleged police encounters at two

different places in Iqbal Town division of Lahore on Saturday.

According to the police, the first alleged police encounter took place near the Doongi ground

of Huma Block in the area of Iqbal Town police station, where a police party reached the

spot on information about the presence of robbers.

According to the police, the accused started firing on seeing the police, one robber was arrested in injured condition in the retaliatory action.

The accused has been identified as Abdul Rasheed, who has a record in more than 27 incidents.

According to the police, one of his accomplices, Asif, fled the scene and is being sought.

In the retaliatory action, one robber, identified as Haider Ali, was injured while his three accomplices

managed to escape.
