BUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2026) Two police officials have been suspended after an altercation between a head clerk and a constable at Sahuka Police Station in Burewala, police sources said on Tuesday.

According to the sources, the dispute began inside the station's clerical office following a heated exchange of words and escalated into a physical fight involving punches.

Constable Liaquat Hussain sustained injuries during the incident, the sources said.

Police authorities suspended both Constable Liaquat Hussain and head clerk Faisal and issued charge sheets against them pending disciplinary proceedings.

A departmental inquiry has been assigned to the DSP Legal to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further action will be taken in light of the inquiry findings, police sources added.
