Two persons electrocuted to death

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) A man and his son were killed in an electrocution incident near the Seam Bridge area on Jhang Road the district on Wednesday, the Rescue 1122 officials said.

According to Rescue 1122, the emergency teams were dispatched after receiving a distress call.

The preliminary findings indicated that a roughly 50-foot-long iron rod, which had been positioned from the roof of a mosque, came into contact with an 11-kilovolt high-voltage power line. The collision resulted in the deaths of Hassan Ali and his 65-year-old father, Allah Dutta, at the scene.

The rescue officials said emergency responders immediately administered first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), in an effort to save the victims, but both succumbed to their injuries.

The concerned authorities completed the necessary procedures and coordinated with the victims’ relatives following the incident.
