Two murder suspects held in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) The district police have arrested two proclaimed offenders allegedly involved in a murder case during a targeted operation conducted in the limits of Dera Town police station.

According to police spokesman, a team of Dera Town police station led by SHO Malik Imran Marhal carried out the operation against wanted criminals, resulting in the arrest of two suspects who had been on the run in connection with a murder case registered two months ago.

The arrested individuals were identified as Abdul Khaliq alias Khalid, son of Akhtar Khan, a resident of Draban-Kalan currently living in Lachhra, and Muhammad Kamran, son of Abdul Qayyum, also from Draban-Kalan and presently residing near the university area.

The police recovered a 30-bore pistol along with a fitted magazine and seven rounds of ammunition from their possession. Both, the suspects have been taken into custody while the further investigation is underway.
