PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) At least two members of Fitna-al Khwarij were killed when police conducted an operation in Takhti Khel, an area located at the junction of Lakki Marwat and Bannu districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

According to reports, the operation was carried out jointly by local residents and police forces.

The action followed a quad-copter attack carried out by militants a day earlier. Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sajjad Khan stated that six to seven children were injured in the drone attack.

Security officials believe that the militants suffered significant losses during the operation.

Authorities said the situation in the area is being monitored and security forces remain on high alert.
