Two-member street crime gang busted in Wah Cantt

WAH CANTT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) Police in the jurisdiction of Saddar Wah have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in a series of brazen street crimes and motorcycle thefts, officials said on Tuesday. The suspects were apprehended during a targeted operation , thereby disrupting what authorities described as an active criminal network operating in and around Wah Cantt.

According to police sources, the raid was conducted following intelligence inputs, while officers moved swiftly to intercept the suspects. During the crackdown, law enforcement personnel recovered stolen motorcycles, mobile phones, cash, and illegal firearms from their possession. The seizures, officials noted, provide crucial evidence linking the accused to multiple incidents of street robbery and bike lifting.

Police said the gang had been operating frequently across different localities, however, their activities have now been curtailed following the operation. Authorities described the arrests as a significant breakthrough in efforts to curb rising street crime in the area.
