Two-member motorcycle theft gang arrested in Taxila, motorbikes recovered

WAH CANTT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) A two-member motorcycle theft gang had been arrested in Taxila, with police recovering six stolen bikes during the operation, the police said on Thursday.

The arrests were made by Taxila Police as part of an ongoing crackdown on street crime in the region.

According to the police, the suspects were apprehended during a targeted raid and taken into custody .

Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar confirmed that the accused would be presented before a court with substantial evidence to ensure legal proceedings move forward.

The police added that further investigations were underway .
