Two-member motorcycle theft gang arrested, 09 stolen motorcycles recovered

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Mar, 2026) Police have arrested a two-member gang involved in multiple motorcycle theft incidents and recovered nine stolen motorcycles along with Rs115,500 allegedly obtained from selling stolen bikes.

According to police spokesperson, the arrests were made during a targeted operation against vehicle thieves operating in the Cantonment area.

Police have registered separate cases against gang.

SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan commended police team for their swift action and said the accused would be challaned in court with solid evidence.

He added that those who deprive citizens of their valuable assets cannot escape the grip of the law. Police said further investigation is underway and more recoveries are expected.
