Two-member gang held involved in street crimes, 03 stolen motorcycles recovered

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) Police have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in street crimes and motorcycle theft, a police spokesman said on Sunday.

According to police, three stolen motorcycles were recovered from the possession of the suspects. An amount of Rs 13,000, obtained from the sale of snatched mobile phones, was also recovered during the operation.

Bani police have registered separate cases against both of them, and further investigation is underway.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad said the arrested individuals would be presented in the court with solid evidence to ensure they receive appropriate punishment.

He added that those who attack the lives and property of citizens cannot escape the grip of the law, reaffirming the police’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the city.
