Two martyred soldiers laid to rest

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) Two brave soldiers from Tehsil Jand, who embraced martyrdom while performing their duty in Skardu (Gilgit), have been

laid to rest in their ancestral graveyards with full military honors.

The funeral prayer were attended by Pakistan Army officers, local elders, and a large number of citizens.

According to details, another solider "Narra" region sacrificed his life for the motherland. Security official Zulfiqar Khattak, hailing from village Kanjur (Union Council Chhab), was martyred during an attack on security forces in Skardu.

His funeral prayer was offered at the Kanjur Janazgah.

The second martyr, Muhammad Asif Khattak, belonged to village Toray Wali (Union Council Dakhner). His funeral prayer was offered at Dhoke Abdul Razzaq, located on Toray Wali-Jhamat Road.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a guard of honor to the martyrs' remains. Local residents and bereaved families expressed immense pride in the ultimate sacrifice made by their brave sons, paying them a glowing tribute.
