Two major drug dealers behind bars as ICT Police seize over 4kg hashish

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police put two major drug dealers behind the bars and recovered more than four kilograms of hashish during an operation conducted under the “Nasha Ab Nahi” campaign in the Koral area of the Federal capital.

An official told APP on Monday that Koral Police carried out the operation with the help of human intelligence and took into custody two alleged drug dealers identified as Muhammad Nabi and Mehdad Khan.

The official said both accused were previous record holders involved in narcotics trafficking.

During the operation, police recovered over four kilograms of hashish from the possession of the accused, he added.

Cases have been registered against the suspects while further investigation was underway to trace their network and other possible links.

SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza said Islamabad Police would continue indiscriminate operations until complete elimination of the menace of drugs from society.
