GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Police have intensified action against kite sellers across the district and arrested two suspects, recovering 50 kites from their possession.
According to a police spokesperson, police team conducted raids against kite sellers and apprehended two accused identified as Nadeem Haider and Kamil Hussain.
Police recovered 50 kites from their custody. Separate cases have been registered against the arrested suspects and further investigation is underway.
The DPO said that kite flying and selling are dangerous activities that pose serious risks to human life. He urged parents to keep their children away from such practices and cooperate with police in eliminating the hazardous trend.
