Two killed, two injured as tractor-trolley crashes into rickshaw in Mirpurkhas

MIRPURKHAS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) Two people lost their lives and two others were seriously injured when a speeding tractor-trolley lost control and ran over a parked rickshaw near Khaan Naka in Mirpurkhas on Saturday, police said.

According to officials, one of the deceased was identified as 30-year-old Haider Ali Kalro, a resident of Khaan town, who died on the spot. The identity of the second victim could not be confirmed immediately, and the body has been shifted to the Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas mortuary for identification.

The injured, identified as Balam Meghwar and Ravi, received initial medical treatment before being referred to Hyderabad in critical condition. Police said Balam Meghwar is a resident of Jhol, while Ravi hails from Khaan town.

Following the incident, SHO Town Police Station Inspector Ameen Mari arrested the tractor-trolley driver, Fareed Manganhar, and placed him in custody. The vehicle involved in the accident has also been seized, while further investigation is underway.
