Two killed, four injured in Nawabshah firing incident over land dispute

NAWABSHAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) At least two people were killed and four others injured in a firing incident reportedly triggered by a land dispute in Nawabshah on Friday, according to police sources quoted by tv channels.

Initial reports said that members of a rival group allegedly opened fire near Landi bus stop area of Nawabshah, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to four others. The incident is believed to have stemmed from an ongoing dispute over land ownership.

Upon receiving information about the shooting, police rushed to the scene and shifted the deceased and injured persons to a nearby hospital for necessary legal and medical procedures.

Police have launched a search operation to arrest the suspects involved in the attack. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
