Two held, illegal arms, ammunition recovered

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Rawalpindi Police have intensified operations against illegal weapons and arrested two individuals, recovering arms and ammunition from their possession.

According to a police spokesman, Mandra Police apprehended one suspect and seized illegal weapons along with ammunition.

In a separate action, Jatli Police also arrested another individual and recovered weapons and ammunition, registering separate cases against the accused.

SP Saddar, Anum Sher said that strict action was being taken against those involved in illegal possession of arms. She added that such elements could not escape the grip of law and operations would continue to ensure public safety.
