Two dacoits arrested, weapons, looted items recovered

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) Madina Town police arrested two active members of a dacoit gang and recovered illegal weapons and looted items from their possession.

Police said here on Monday that the team on a tip-off conducted raids and succeeded in arresting ringleader Zeeshan along with his accomplice Furqan who were wanted by the police in dozens of dacoity, robbery and other cases.

During initial interrogation, the police traced out 17 cases and recovered looted items worth Rs.1 million,weapons and other paraphernalia.

The police locked the accused behind the bars, while further investigation was underway,police added.
