Turkish NGO distributes 400 ration bags among deserving families

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Turkish organization, the NGOs World Foundation, distributed 400 ration bags among the needy families with the cooperation from district administration here Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner Maliha Rasheed, accompanied by CEO NGOs World Zafar Iqbal, personally distributed the ration bags among deserving households.

The Deputy Commissioner said on the occasion that supporting underprivileged people is a form of 'Sadaqah Jariyah' and stressed that collective efforts are essential to provide relief to those in need during Ramazan.

She appreciated the services of the NGO for the people of Khanewal and added that the district administration is ensuring the assistance should reach the truly deserving people.

Deputy Director Development Muzaffar Khan and Deputy Director Social Welfare Muhammad Umar Rana also attended the ceremony.
