Truck driver killed in accident

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) A driver was killed in a collision between two trucks near Dherkay Kalan Stop on GT Road here on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, a mini truck was on way to Lahore rammed into a faulty truck parked along

the roadside.

As a result, 30-year-old Najeebullah, son of Shah Wazir, a resident of Charsada, who was lying under the parked truck for repairing work, was run over and died on the spot.

Rescue officials shifted the body to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital.

Police were completing legal formalities.
