Trained teachers to play role for promoting quality education: DC Kohlu

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Kohlu Azeem Jan Dummar on Wednesday said that trained, talented and committed teachers would play a fundamental role in promoting quality education and creating a better educational environment.

He said this while addressing a ceremony held at Government Inter Girls College Kohlu at the end of the eight-day Pedagogy and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) training workshop organized by contribution of Balochistan Education Foundation (BEF) and PITE for community teachers.

Deputy Director PITE Abdul Hameed Jaffar, District Education Officer Jaffar Khan Zarkoon, PITE trainers, District Supervisor BEF Yousaf Marri and other officers and guests also attended the ceremony.

The teachers shared their experiences and skills acquired during the eight-day training. They said the training

has significantly improved their teaching skills, classroom management and modern teaching methods.

On this occasion, Deputy Director PITE, Abdul Hameed Jaffar, appreciated the full participation, punctuality and discipline of the teachers.

While Deputy Commissioner Kohlu Azeem Jan Dummar said trained, talented and committed teachers could play a fundamental role in promoting quality education and creating a better educational environment.

He said continuous professional training of teachers was indispensable for improving education quality.
