Trails for Pak-China friendship summer games 2026 concludes

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Trials for the Pak-China Friendship Summer Games 2026 (Inter-Division) concluded successfully here under the supervision of Divisional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Anjum, with a large number of young athletes from across the division participating in various sports disciplines,here on Monday.

According to details,players from Sargodha,Khushab,Mianwali and Bhakkar took part in the trials with enthusiasm to secure their places in the divisional teams for the upcoming event.

Trials for basketball,weightlifting,badminton,table tennis,wushu, gymnastics,volleyball and athletics were held at the Sports Gymnasium and Sports Stadium Sargodha.

Football trials were conducted at the University of Sargodha football ground, while tennis trials were held at the university’s tennis courts.

Officials said a selection committee closely monitored the performance of players to ensure a merit-based selection process for the divisional squads.

The trials were also attended by District Sports Officer Saima Manzoor,DSO Mianwali Mumtaz Niazi,DSO Bhakkar Hasnain Malik,Tayyab Bashir and Muntaha Malik.

Speaking on the occasion,Divisional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Anjum said the Pak-China Friendship Summer Games provide a valuable platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and help emerging players excel at higher levels.

He expressed hope that the selected athletes would deliver strong performances in the forthcoming competitions and bring laurels to the division
