Traffic police Abbottabad launches cold drink stalls for citizens and Traffic personnel amid severe heat

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) SSP Traffic Abbottabad Muhammad Ishtiaq took a commendable initiative to facilitate both traffic personnel and

the general public in view of the intense heatwave and scorching weather conditions, .

On the directives of the SSP Traffic, special cold drink stalls were established at various important points across

the city where chilled beverages were provided to traffic wardens performing duties under the extreme heat, as

well as to citizens passing through these areas.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Traffic Muhammad Ishtiaq said that officers performing duties in harsh weather

conditions are a valuable asset to the department, adding that public service and convenience remain the top

priorities of the traffic police.
