TNFJ chief stresses need to promote Muslim unity, peace

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Head of Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ), Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi has stressed the need to promote unity among the Muslim Ummah and strengthen peace and brotherhood on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (AS).

Speaking to the media during the central procession of Shabih-e-Taboot of Ameerul Momineen Hazrat Ali (AS) here, he said the life of Hazrat Ali (AS) remained a shining example of justice, fairness, support for the oppressed and service to humanity.

His teachings and character continued to offer guidance for contemporary times, he said, adding that through his way of life Hazrat Ali (AS) imparted lessons of justice, tolerance and love for humanity, which could help foster peace, harmony and mutual understanding among people.

Muqaddasi urged the Muslim Ummah to promote unity, peace and brotherhood so that a positive image of islam could be projected to the world.

Maintaining peace, order and discipline during religious gatherings and mourning processions was a collective responsibility, he said.

The TNFJ leader also appreciated the security arrangements made by the government, saying such measures helped ensure the safety of the public and the protection of religious freedom.
