TMA intensifies anti-encroachment campaign across DIKhan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Acting on the directives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the district administration, the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) carried out an anti-encroachment operation from the Old Vegetable Market to Marriali Road.

The operation was conducted on the instructions of TMO Muhammad Hanif and supervised by Encroachment in-charge Fahad Khan Sadozai along with the TMA enforcement team.

During the drive, temporary encroachments and other illegal obstructions established along both sides of the road were removed, restoring smooth traffic flow and facilitating public movement.

The TMA team also advised shopkeepers and residents to refrain from occupying government land or roads with unauthorized structures or merchandise, warning that legal action would be taken against repeat violators.

According to the TMA, anti-encroachment operations would continue across the city without discrimination to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow, improve public convenience, and keep roads and public spaces free from illegal occupations.
