Three suspects arrested in DIKhan theft case, stolen items recovered

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Dera Ismail Khan Police on Thursday said that three alleged thieves were arrested during a successful operation carried out by Paroa Circle police, while stolen cash and other valuables were also recovered from their possession.

According to a police press spokesman, the operation was conducted on the directives of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed under the supervision of SP City Division Muhammad Nauman and led by DSP Paroa Muhammad Saleem Khan Baloch, along with SHO University police station Zafar Abbas.

Police said the arrested suspects were identified as Arif, son of Talawat Khan, a resident of Lunda Sharif, Mulazim son of Sona Khan, and Tasawur son of Hashim, both residents of the Lunda Sharif area.

During the operation, police recovered Rs 250,000 cash believed to be proceeds from the stolen property, along with two solar plates, three electric fans and one UPS from the accused persons.

The suspects were taken into custody and shifted to police lock-up, while further legal proceedings and investigation into the case were underway, the police spokesperson added.
