ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) The district administration, in collaboration with the Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA), conducted a joint audit and inspection of private educational institutions across the district, resulting in notices being issued to three schools for violations.

The inspection team, led by Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad Afrasiab Zubair Handal along with Deputy Director PSRA Faisal Khan, visited several private schools including Modern Age, Tameer-e-Watan, Shaheen International, Aspire school, City School, Beaconhouse, Brilliant Mind, and The Educators.

During the inspections, officials reviewed records related to fee collection during holidays, functioning of laboratories, and the sale of stationery.

Authorities found multiple irregularities, including the sale of branded stationery with specific logos, illegal collection of fees during holidays, and forcing parents to purchase stationery from designated vendors.

In addition to these findings, the team also assessed facilities such as playgrounds, parking arrangements, libraries, science and computer labs, and teaching methodologies, issuing necessary directives for improvement.

The district administration warned that illegal and unfair practices in private educational institutions will not be tolerated, adding that such audits and inspections will continue regularly to safeguard the rights of parents and ensure transparency in the education sector.
