SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) The Health department officials on Wednesday sealed three medical stores and clinics during a crackdown against quackery and illegal drug sales in various localities of Sargodha.
According to details,the Deputy Drug Controller Faheem Zia and Deputy District Health Officer Dr. Adnan conducted the operation in various localities including Chak Umar Lalu, Hayatpur, and Kalra estate to inspect medical facilities.
During the inspection at Chak Umar Lalu, the shop of Amir Moeiz was sealed after it was found involved in the sale of drugs and medicines without bill warranties, besides illegal clinical practice.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Similarly, the team sealed Akhtar Shifakhana in Hayatpur for violating health regulations. In another raid at Kalra Estate, a medical store operated by Hassan was sealed for its involvement in the illegal sale of medicines and unauthorized medical practice.
The health officials stated that the campaign against quacks and illegal medical practitioners would continue to ensure the provision of safe healthcare services to the public.
